Plan for play, not a rapid museum tour

Visiting with a baby and an older sibling
The baby wooden playroom has its own booking time, and that time cannot be changed under the published visitor rules. An older sibling aged three or above cannot enter it. If you have one adult with children on both sides of the age limit, plan around areas you can use together rather than depending on this room.
Diaper-changing facilities and nursing space are available. Ask staff where to go when you arrive. A carrier may help after parking your stroller, if it suits your child and your own comfort.
Meals and re-entry need thought
The museum does not allow eating inside; water or tea may be taken on corridor benches. The visitor guide allows weekday re-entry, but normally not on weekends or holidays, with further date-specific exceptions. Check your date before assuming you can leave for lunch and return.
