Tokyo with toddlers: choose one anchor, then protect the reset points
A toddler-friendly Tokyo day is usually one booked or contained anchor plus flexible time for feeding, changes, weather and a child who is done sooner than expected.

For a toddler, choose one main place rather than a packed list. First check the venue’s age rule, stroller rule and baby-care information, then leave the arrival and departure around it open. KidZania is not an activity choice for an under-three; Ghibli Museum stores strollers; and Sanrio Puroland’s stroller rules change on some day types.
Start with the age rule
KidZania activities are for ages 3–15. Under-threes enter free but cannot join regular activities. That can still work when an older sibling is the main visitor, but a toddler needs a separate plan with the adult.
Decide whether the stroller is transport or luggage storage
Ghibli Museum asks visitors to leave strollers in its designated area. At Puroland, they cannot be used on floors 1 and 2 on weekends, holidays and weekdays that close at 18:00. Check the precise day before buying entry.
Build the day around reset points
Arrive with a buffer, identify the venue’s stated baby-care option, choose one priority and leave after it if the child is tired. Do not book another non-refundable timed attraction immediately afterwards.

Check the age and adult rules before the ticket
KidZania Tokyo says its activities are suited for children aged 3 to 15. Its reservation FAQ says a booking cannot be made for children aged 3 to 12 without an adult aged 16 or over in the group. The same FAQ says all adults may temporarily exit only when every child in the group is at least six. Treat KidZania as a choice to plan around the ages in your group, rather than an activity for an under-three.
At Sanrio Puroland, a passport is required from age three and children two and under enter free. Check the entry instructions for the ticket route and package you select. If the stroller is essential, check the current floor restriction before committing to the day.
At teamLab Planets, the operator requires one accompanying adult for every three children, including children eligible for free entry. Strollers cannot enter, and the visit includes barefoot water areas. Treat those conditions as part of the age decision, not as details to solve at the entrance.
Use these rules to rule out a mismatch before payment. They do not measure a child’s interest, stamina, sensory comfort or the amount of help your family will need on the day.
